BEVERLY, Mass., March 8, 2005 – Inotek Pharmaceuticals Corporation announced today that it has commenced enrollment in a Phase 1b trial for its lead compound, INO-1001, in patients with Glioblastoma Multiforme. This study will evaluate tolerability, safety, and pharmacokinetics. This study will also assess pharmacodynamics, including the ability for INO-1001 to transverse the blood brain barrier and to inhibit poly(ADP ribose) polymerase in Glioblastoma Multiforme tumors.
