Inotek is focused on the development of drugs that attenuate harmful cellular responses to injury by modulation of Adenosine or PARP levels, or by removing Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), for the treatment of serious diseases of the eye.

The Company's most advanced product candidate, INO-8875, is a highly selective Adenosine-1 receptor agonist in Phase 1/2 clinical development for the treatment of glaucoma. Additionally, Inotek has an extensive poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor program in preclinical development as well as a recently acquired portfolio of superoxide dismutase mimetics (SODm). Inotek is actively exploring both classes of molecules in retinal diseases, with the goal to advance lead candidates into development.
